1. Can I have both my ceremony and reception at Solis Hall?

The Downtown Wellen Venue Collection is the perfect canvas for your dream wedding, with both ceremony and reception spaces in one stunning location:

• With 30-foot ceilings and plenty of natural light, Solis Hall itself is a breathtaking space for your indoor celebration. 
• For an intimate, charming atmosphere, Canopy Green is a favorite ceremony site with a hundred-year-old oak as its visual centerpiece. 
• If you’re envisioning a grander celebration, the Hammock Lawns by Grand Lake provide endless space for your guests to soak in the stunning lakefront view.

2. Can I bring my own vendors and decor?

Yes, you can! One of the best things about choosing Solis Hall for your wedding is that we’re a blank space venue. This means you and your vendor team have the freedom to bring your vision to life, whether you’re aiming for something classic, modern, or completely unique. 

The only required vendor is The Banyan House, our in-house caterer, who will handle your food and beverage needs (we’ll elaborate on their offerings in the next question below!). Aside from that, you’re welcome to bring in your own vendors for everything else — just be sure they carry the necessary insurance. See our venue guidelines here.

3. What are the food and beverage options? 

When it comes to food and drinks for your Solis Hall wedding, The Banyan House has you covered with a wide range of delicious options. They offer several choices to suit your style, from a plated dinner to a casual buffet. You can also impress your guests with passed hors d’oeuvres or even get creative with specialty dinner themes — the possibilities are endless!

As for drinks, you can keep it simple with just beer and wine, or go all out with a full bar! The Banyan House handles all the setup, from plates to silverware, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. They even provide black linens, though if you’d like something more custom, you’re welcome to bring in your own or hire a linen vendor.

4. Are there things for my guests to enjoy in the area before and after the wedding?

Absolutely! Solis Hall is situated in Downtown Wellen where everyone is welcome, and it’s a vibrant area where guests can enjoy a variety of activities before or after the ceremony. For a relaxing pre-wedding experience, bridesmaids can treat themselves to a fun group mani/pedi at PAINT Nail Bar, or consider a pampering morning at Florida Lakes Spa. And, with a range of dining options in Downtown Wellen, you and your guests can stop in and enjoy local favorites or plan your rehearsal dinner and post-wedding brunch. 

If you’re looking to explore beyond the wedding day, guests can take a scenic excursion to Sarasota to explore local shops, art galleries, and the stunning Gulf Coast beaches.
