Wellen Park | Fall Events Round-Up

Known for its community events, live music series, group fitness classes, and so much more, Wellen Park’s Fall Events schedule is packed with can’t-miss activities for residents and visitors. Get excited for everything Wellen Park has to offer this fall.

Group Fitness Schedule

From walking group meet-ups in Downtown Wellen to yoga on the Great Lawn, there are more than just a few ways to keep active throughout the community. 

• Every Saturday: walking group meet-up from 9 am to 10 am, cycling group meet-up from 10 am to 11 am, and yoga from 9 am to 10 am. 
• Every Monday: Zumba from 9 am to 10 am and running group meet-up at 6 pm.

Tai Chi will also be added to the fitness rotation beginning November 1 and will be happening at 9 am every Wednesday.

Fresh Harvest Farmers Market

With everything from fresh fish, fruits, and veggies to baked goods and live music, The Fresh Harvest Farmers Market is the perfect Sunday activity, happening every week from 9 am to 1 pm. 

Fall Music Series

Residents and visitors are invited to attend Downtown Wellen’s live music performances every Wednesday through Sunday. Click here to take a look at our musician schedule. 

• Wellen Wednesdays: Under the Heritage Tree from 6 pm to 10 pm
• Thursday Tunes: Under the Heritage Tree from 6 pm to 10 pm
• Friday Night Live: Solis Hall Stage from 6 pm to 10 pm 
• Saturday Sounds: Under the Heritage Tree from 6 pm to 10 pm
• Sunday Groove: Under the Heritage Tree from 9 am to 1 pm

Thanks4giving Tree

With the goal of feeding over 100 families, Wellen Park and The Rotary Club have partnered again for this year’s Thanks4giving Tree. Here’s how you can help make Thanksgiving memorable for members of the community: 

• Stop by the Welcome Center between 9 am and 5 pm
• Select a tag from the Giving Tree
• Purchase a gift card in the dollar amount that you choose
• Take your gift card back to the Wellen Park Welcome Center

At the end of the donation period, gift cards will be picked up, and Club members will go to grocery stores to purchase Thanksgiving meals.

Downtown Wellen Fall Festival

Downtown Wellen’s annual Fall Festival is coming up on October 28th from 2 pm to 10 pm. Perfect for the whole family, there will be events from live music and a traditional beer garden to apple bobbing and pumpkin decorating. Join us on the Great Lawn to celebrate the fall season! 

Flags for Heroes

This year on Veterans Day (11/11) from 10 am to 4 pm, Wellen Park will be hosting a Flags for Heroes ceremony to show appreciation for our veterans. An American flag and customized medallion will be put on display along Wellen Park’s Grand Lake for every $50 donation, and plaques, which will include the hero’s name, will be presented during the ceremony on the Great Lawn. Artscape Wellen Park

Join Wellen Park for its first celebration of visual and performing arts on November 11th from 2 pm to 10 pm at Downtown Wellen Artscape. Come celebrate local artists through visual art exhibitions, immersive experiences, live music performances, an artist marketplace, and so much more.

Tailgate Tuesdays

On the third Tuesday of every month from 6 pm to 9 pm, Wellen Park hosts its monthly Tailgate Tuesday event! Join us Downtown for the final tailgate of the year on November 21st where we’ll be playing the Wheel of Fun – Football Edition. Don’t forget, the names of the three-monthly prize winners will be entered into a Bowl Game Sweepstakes for a chance to win two (2) tickets to the Citrus Bowl (1/1/24 in Orlando, FL), hotel accommodations, and $1,000 spending money.

Cars & Caffeine

On the first Saturday of every month from 7:30 am to 10:30 am, Foxtail Coffee and the Antique Automobile Club come together to put on an informative, early morning event for people with a passion for automobiles. If you love cars and coffee, come out to the next meeting on November 4th!

Outdoor Movies on the Great Lawn

On the third Saturday of every month be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs for an outdoor movie on the Great Lawn. Enjoy snacks and drinks from your favorite Downtown Wellen restaurants and food containers like Lakeside Bites, PopDawgs, and Claw & Co. — get excited for the next movie showing on November 18th.
