Our Top 3 Moments from Wellen Park’s Half Marathon & 5K

This past weekend was one for the books celebrating our Half Marathon & 5K in Downtown Wellen! Get caught up and read on for our top three moments from the event.

1. The Main Event

With 855 sign-ups from 28 states, plus Canada and Mexico, we had a blast watching everyone run, walk, stroll, and participate in the race of the year — even our four-legged friends! Thank you to everyone, from our 3-year-olds to our 87-year-olds, who participated in this year’s half marathon or 5K, and congratulations to the winners of each event.

2. Epic Post-Race Festivities 

While the race was fun, the post-race festivities brought even more excitement! With food, beverages, an awards ceremony, and live music by Modern Measure, there was something for everyone to enjoy. See our favorite highlights below.

It wouldn’t be a Wellen Park event without support from our loyal residents and visitors! From children and grandparents to friends and neighbors, the race was full of love and support for all those partaking. See a few of our attendees below.
