For 50 years, Suncoast Humane Society is a no-kill animal shelter that has been dedicated to helping animals and their people live safer, healthier, and love-filled lives. Serving Southwest Florida, our shelter supports over 50,000 animals and people each year. We provide shelter, affordable prevention services, and ongoing support to create a happier, healthier community for pets and their people.

What: Meet and Greet with Friendly Rescue Dogs and Puppies
When: Every Third Saturday of the Month, 11am – 2pm
Where: Ace Hardware, Wellen Park
Join us in the cool air conditioning of Ace Hardware, where you can interact with our friendly rescue dogs and adorable puppies, all looking for their forever homes. Even if you’re not ready to adopt, your interaction helps our dogs become more comfortable with people, aiding their socialization.
In addition to meeting our furry friends, you can:
- Adopt: Find your new best friend and give a rescue pet a loving home.
- Foster: Provide a temporary home and make a huge difference in a pet’s life.
- Donate: Support our mission and help us continue our vital work.
- Volunteer: Learn about ways you can get involved and make a difference.
- Visit: Simply come and enjoy the company of our dogs and puppies.
