Walkin’ in a (Warm!) Winter Wonderland
Dates: December 11-23, December 26-30, and January 1- 2
One benefit of celebrating the holidays down south: Outdoor gardens all year long! If strolling the walkways of a twinkling wonderland set in a lush garden sounds like your holiday cup of tea, don’t miss Lights in Bloom: An Open-Air Holiday Light Show. This magical event occurs many evenings this month at Selby Gardens in Downtown Sarasota.

Christmas Carols and Beyond
Dates: December 17 & 18
The Venice Symphony is prepared to deliver a little bit of everything with their upcoming concert: A Holly Jolly Holiday. The concert will feature classic music in celebration of Christmas and Hanukkah, tunes from beloved holiday film favorites, and even a sing-along so all can participate.
A Traditional Tale Takes Stage
Dates: December 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
Don’t be a Scrooge! Get into the spirit with a Christmas classic — the Venice Theatre will be performing A Christmas Carol on weekends from December 10 through 20. To make things even more special, it’s the theatre’s 20th-anniversary performance of the show. Be sure to secure your tickets soon!
