Wellen Park showcases local wedding and special event vendors at Solis Hall

VENICE, Fla. (Sept. 22, 2023) – More than 100 guests gathered recently to attend Wellen Park’s inaugural Wedding + Special Events Expo at Solis Hall, the region’s newest waterfront venue for weddings, community celebrations, business meetings, milestones and just-because events, in Downtown Wellen. Spanning a full day, the expo featured more than 20 local industry professionals showcasing exhibits where attendees explored and experienced some of the most popular wedding and event trends, including a 360 photobooth, cake tastings, on-the-spot manicures and more.

Exhibiting vendors included Wonder Cake Creations, The Balloon Babe, Storii Coffee, Ashley Jade Photography, 360 Freedom Photography, Jennifer Matteo Event Planning, Sam Copland Photography, Bubbly Bee, Eileon, Palacios Event Planning, Blossmcart, Ooyoot Market + Events, Noah Grey Music, Wild at Heart Flower Truck and Blooming Color & Curls. Downtown Wellen tenants Florida Lakes Spa, Paint Nail Bar, DanaTyler and The Banyan House also participated in this showcase event. Throughout the expo, attendees received special giveaways and exclusive discounts from exhibiting vendors.

Guests explored Solis Hall’s indoor and outdoor venue spaces while sampling passed hors d’oeuvres from The Banyan House, Downtown Wellen’s flagship waterfront restaurant and exclusive Solis Hall caterer. Just outside of Solis Hall is the adjoining Canopy Green, an enchanting and romantic lakefront destination. The Canopy Green was decorated and set up for a ceremony for guests to envision a wedding taking place under the live oak trees.

Now available for rent, Solis Hall is nestled along downtown’s 80-acre Grand Lake. The 4,400-square-foot event venue features soaring 25-foot ceilings, an outdoor stage overlooking the Great Lawn, and more than 4,000 square feet of outdoor gathering areas, porches and patios along the water.

Located at 19745 Wellen Park Blvd., Venice, Downtown Wellen can be accessed directly from Preto Boulevard and U.S. 41, just west of South River Road. A future downtown entry directly from U.S. 41 and Wellen Park Boulevard is currently under construction.
