Located next to the convenient Marketplace and adjacent to future Downtown Wellen, the new Welcome Center serves as the first stop for anyone in the market for a new home and doubles as an event space. Future and current residents should feel at home to relax and enjoy the space during hours of operation from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Everyone is welcome to stop by for a visit! Driving Directions

With the perfect combination of playful artwork, expert community ambassadors, and neighboring business, we can’t wait to give potential residents a warm Wellen welcome into our community.

Local Artwork and Playful Accents

The Wellen Way of Life embodies fun and good vibes, and the Welcome Center is centered around just that. As soon as visitors walk through the front doors, they will see the Wellen Park branded vintage Apé truck for guest registration and greetings.

These playful and thoughtful details are carried throughout the entire space to show visitors what living in Wellen Park is all about.

The new center features an innovative bike and scooter display depicting the community’s commitment to wellness and expansion of pathways and trails, a 24’ x 10’ moss wall showcasing the various Wellen Park neighborhoods and coastal plain topography of Southwest Florida. A custom mural, designed by local Sarasota artist Lipstick Lex, that celebrates the community’s tree preservation and relocation program is a must-see.

Expert Community Ambassadors

As the very first stop for potential homebuyers and realtors, the Welcome Center provides access to Wellen Park’s expert community ambassadors who have a wealth of knowledge about the neighborhoods and the surrounding area.

These ambassadors are well-versed in Wellen Park’s local attractions for all ages, as well as nearby schools and activities for families. The ambassadors will discuss individual wants and needs of the potential buyers and assist in finding the perfect match when it comes to the neighborhood, amenities, and type of home.

The new space is also equipped with touch screen displays for up-to-the-minute information on all things Wellen Park—from available homes and model plans to upcoming events to local retailer information. Visitors can expect to learn the ins and outs of each of Wellen Park’s eight existing neighborhoods by regional and national home builders including Divosta, D.R. Horton, Lennar, Mattamy Homes, M/I Homes, Neal Communities, Sam Rodgers, and WCI. In the coming months, visitors will also be able to learn about six new neighborhoods that will break ground in 2021.

If you would like to speak with an ambassador, the space is open for walk-ins or you can schedule an appointment by calling 941-960-7805. The 5,000-square-foot facility has implemented safety precautions through social distancing practices and encouraging face masks so all guests can feel comfortable stopping in.

Neighboring Cafe

Right next door, you can find the all-new Barrel & Bean—a jack of all trades coffee shop that also serves as a wine bar and beer tasting room.

Find just about everything from hazelnut lattes and pour-over coffee to red wine and craft beer. If you’re feeling hungry, order a bagel off their breakfast menu, a ciabatta panini for lunch, or lump crab cake for an evening meal.

The addition of this adjoining business also allows potential homebuyers to interact with current residents to get a feel for the community and strike up a conversation about life in Wellen Park.
