Your Guide to Atlanta Braves Spring Training in Wellen Park

With last season’s big World Series win on the books and in our hearts, we’re prouder than ever to support the Atlanta Braves, whose Spring Training facility, CoolToday Park, sits right here in our Wellen Park community

Spring Training is right around the corner, and we know you’ll be watching every minute of every game! Check out these must-visit places to come and support the Braves this season.

Know When to Go

First things first, let’s start out with the schedule! Spring Training begins on the last weekend of February, and, lucky for us, we get home-field advantage for the first two games of the season!

The Braves take on the Boston Red Sox on Saturday the 26th and then face the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday the 27th, so you can pick a day that works for you or come down and support our home team the whole weekend!

You can find tickets (and the entirety of the Braves Spring Training schedule!) on the Major League Baseball website.

Support Your Team at Tomahawk Tiki Bar & Grill

If you’re looking for a great spot to watch this season, the Superior Pools Tomahawk Tiki Bar & Grill, located right inside CoolToday Park, boasts some of the best seats in the house!

Pair your panoramic views of the game with some ballpark grub — the kitchen serves modernized classics such as kitchen sink nachos, tater tot pie, and what some locals have deemed the best wings in the area.

Tomahawk Tiki Bar is also open on non-game days, and regularly hosts lots of other opportunities for fun times, such as live musical performances, trivia nights, and regular happy hour deals.

Members enjoy a baseball game inside the Braves-themed LECOM Legends VIP Clubroom.

A VIP Experience

For an elevated way to enjoy the Spring Training season, consider joining the LECOM Legends VIP club to experience games in “an exclusive, very unique space,” as described by Mike Dunn, Vice President of Operations for the Braves.

Picture this: You’re lounging in an air-conditioned facility decked out in Braves decor and memorabilia. You have all-inclusive access to beer, wine, and delicious food like beef wellington and lobster mac and cheese. And even though you’re sitting right behind home plate with a perfect view (thanks to various video monitors!), you’re welcome to pop into the stands at any time.

Get all the details on the LECOM Legends VIP Club in the Wellen Park Journal, or turn dreams into your reality by calling 941-413-5000, ext. 4.

We absolutely can’t wait to be back in the stands supporting our Braves, and hope to see you there this spring!
