Millennium Physician Group opens new location in Wellen Park

VENICE, Fla. (May 21, 2024) – Close-to-home healthcare continues to expand in Wellen Park, where Millennium Physician Group opened its brand-new 13,000-square-foot location May 20. The state-of-the-art healthcare center will provide primary care and lab and imaging services to the residents in the fast-growing Wellen Park and surrounding areas.

Located at 8036 S Tamiami Trail, the new Millennium Physician Group location has 15 exam rooms and laboratory, X-ray, CT scan and MRI services. Millennium Physician Group has two primary care physicians, Jim Pineno, MD and Patricia Daneshmand, DO, working out of this facility and offers same day appointments. The new medical office joins a collection of additional healthcare facilities currently under construction in Wellen Park. HCA Florida Englewood Hospital broke ground on a brand-new emergency department May 1. CASTO Healthcare Real Estate is also developing a three-story, 75,000-square-foot medical office building for physicians, specialists and healthcare professionals in the community. Sarasota Memorial Hospital-Venice is planning a freestanding emergency care center at 7900 S Tamimi Trail. The campus will also include medical offices for outpatient services and specialty care, and has the potential to connect to a future hospital.
