Model homes, sales center open at Solstice in Wellen Park

VENICE, Fla. (Dec. 20, 2022) – Toll Brothers has completed the sales center and three professionally decorated model homes in Solstice, its first neighborhood in Wellen Park. A gated community of 270 luxury attached villas and single-family homes in the Playmore District, Solstice offers 14 one- and two-story floor plans and a private amenity campus.

“Our new Solstice at Wellen Park community offers luxury, gated living in a prime location, close to Downtown Wellen Park and CoolToday Park,” said Brian O’Hara, division president of Toll Brothers in Tampa and Sarasota. “The new model homes will serve as an inspiration for our home buyers who are looking for a modern sanctuary to call home in the heart of the master-planned development district.”

The models showcase Solstice’s three home collections and floor plans emphasizing open kitchens, great rooms and dining areas. Homesites overlook lakes and nature preserves. The models also highlight the personalized selections available at Toll Brothers’ design studio, including designer lighting, hardwood flooring, cabinets and countertops, security and home automation.

Featuring Craftsman architecture, the Dunnet model illustrates the livability and spaciousness of Solstice’s three attached villa designs. It has three bedrooms, two baths, a two-car garage and spans 1,804 square feet under air. A wide-open kitchen offers an island, a walk-in pantry and flows into the adjoining great room and casual dining area. Sliding glass doors open the great room to a private covered lanai.

Designed as an oasis, the primary suite features a large bedroom, a generous walk-in closet and a private bathroom boasting an oversized shower, linen storage, a dual-sink vanity and water closet.

Solstice’s two single-family model homes demonstrate the built-in flexibility of Toll Brothers’ floor plans and opportunities for wall ovens and extended islands in kitchens, expanded outdoor living, additional bedrooms with full bathrooms, and decorative 10-foot coffered ceilings. Buyers have a choice of 11 home designs with three to six bedrooms, two- and three-car garages, and 1,917 to nearly 3,400 square feet of living space.

The Sollas model features coastal architecture and a versatile floor plan starting at 2,236 square feet under air with three bedrooms, two full baths and a powder room. A dedicated storage area in the two-car garage provides an option for converting the flex room to a fourth bedroom with a walk-in closet and private bathroom.

Centered around an open-concept, the model features a spacious great room, a casual dining area and a well-appointed kitchen with a larger center island, ample counterspace and cabinets, and additional storage in a walk-in pantry. A covered lanai extends living outside.

The Sollas’ primary suite overlooks the backyard and has a walk-in closet, a storage closet and a spa-like bathroom with a luxury shower accented with a high window for natural sunlight, a dual-sink vanity and private water closet. The split floor plan design places secondary bedrooms in a wing off the foyer’s long entry hallway. The rooms have generous closet space and share a full hall bath.

Solstice’s largest floor plan, the 3,395-square-foot Willet is shown as a model featuring a farmhouse elevation. The two-story home offers up to six bedrooms and four baths and has a three-car garage. The plan’s generous size and focus on entertaining are amplified by the effortless flow from the open flex room in the foyer to an expansive great room, a kitchen with an island and extra-large walk-in pantry, and a cozy casual dining area nestled within a window. Sliding glass doors to the covered lanai enhances the indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

The Willet’s primary suite enjoys the convenience of a first-floor location, a sizeable walk-in closet with an option for a door to the laundry room, and a private bathroom with a large luxury shower, linen storage, a vanity with two sinks, and a water closet. Homebuyers can also add a soaking tub.

A spacious second-floor loft provides an inviting retreat for the three guestrooms, one designed en suite with a private bathroom. A second full bath has a dual-sink vanity while a linen closet offers storage.

Boundless options elevate the Willet’s entertainment potential, including a formal dining room with a wet bar and undercounter refrigerator adjoining the great room, an extended kitchen island for extra prep space and in-room dining, an expanded lanai, and a dry bar in the loft.

The flex room expands versatility, easily accommodating a study, home office, hobby room or an additional bedroom. Homebuyers can also opt for a built-in workspace next to the great room or allocate space in the loft for another guestroom.

Homes in Solstice start in the upper $300,000s.

Residents will also enjoy private amenities in a central location. Solstice’s clubhouse will offer a fitness center, yoga lawn, large social hall, covered veranda and open-air terrace – all overlooking the resort-inspired pool and expansive sundeck. Alfresco destinations also include a tennis court, pickleball courts and a dog park.
