West Villages home sales on hot streak

HERALD TRIBUNE, New home sales in one of the nation’s top selling master planning communities, the West Villages in south Sarasota County, jumped in November over the previous month’s mark by nearly 20 percent to 84. The development company also stated Monday that with two weeks remaining in the year, annual home sales total 1,056 compared to 915 last year for the same period in 2017.
The West Villages, where the $140 million spring training complex for the Atlanta Braves is under construction, expects to be home to 30,000 residences when completed.
